Hi my name is sonu, i had sex lastnight only once with a callgirl using condom, but now i'm worried about being hiv positive.. i used condom but i'm a bit worried...so i want to go for hiv test...how many days i have to wait for doing hiv test and for which test i have to go...pls assist

Welcome to HCM.
Unless your sex partner was having HIV infection, you will have no risk for HIV. Condoms are providing a high degree of resistance to HIV risk. Spouses of HIV positive people remain HIV free for years with regular sex with condom usage.
Two types of HIV tests are available. Antigen test are costly and available with only bigger labs and will be reliable 3-4 weeks after the exposure whereas widely available HIV antibody based tests will become conclusive by 12 weeks (window period) after the risky contact. These tests rule out both HIV 1 and 2.
