White Blood Count Low, Need To Get It Re-tested. How Long Should One Typically Wait Before Re-testing?

Hi there. I was told my white blood count was low and that I need to get it re-tested. How long should one typically wait before re-testing? I didn t hear the nurse on the message. Also, I have had off and on sore neck glands for several months and severe fatigue. Could this really be serious?

Hi. Yes this can be a serious problem . You need to consult a Doctor and get fully investigated. You do not have to wait if the second test is for confirmation. As you have added problem of fatigue with sore glands, this is a bit urgent for early diagnosis.
