White Bump On Lip After Kissing. History Of Being Clear Of Std, No Test Done For Herpes. Possible Spread?

I went out with a guy and we fooled around. We didn't have intercourse but he did kiss me around my vaginal area. 2 weeks later he told me he has a white bump on his lip. I was tested for everything but herpes about one month prior and it was all negative. I had one sexual partner after the test but I use protection. Could I have given him an std?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
White bump over lips following oral sex is likely to be due Herpes infection. This could be either from you that he got the disease if it is HSV 2 infection or it may be a spontaneous recurrence of a old HSV 1 infection of his own (quite common).
If he goes for a HSV 1&2 IgG, IgM test and if you undergo the same test it may likely to be cleared.
Acyclovir cream will cure his lesion at present. Nothing to worry much.
