Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
From your Query, I suspect you may have either Fordyce spots or Herpes infection.

Fordyce spots are ectopic sebaceous gland.
It is nothing but abnormal location of normal small skin gland that secretes sebum (oily matter) into the hair follicles to lubricate the hair and skin.
It is not infectious.
Fordyce spots are not associated with any disease or illness.

Herpes infection in lips is called Herpes labialis.
It is caused by Herpes simplex virus.
Usually it recurs two or more times in a year in immune decreased people.
It also cause Pharyngitis.
Thats why your throat may looks red.
Pain killers like ibuprofen reduce pain.
Antiviral Acyclovir is used for treatment.

But pharyngitis may be due to other infection.
So you must need physical examination to confirm either of these.

Some common advice are.
1. Avoid touching the bump.
2. Wash hands with soap and water immediately after touching bump.
3.Do not share topical medications
It can be a Very common aphthous ulcer.

Hope this helps.
Take care.

Regards,
Dr.Manjeth
