White Discharge. Why Didn't I Conceive? Can I Conceive Now?
Hello Dr. I was getting white discharge for 9 months and i thought it was normal now when my hubby came down in feb i wanted to get conceive but i could not get he was there for 3 months feb march april but i did nt get conceive and wen wet get together next day my vagina gets itching and also on his penis my white discharge use to be there it was like thick milk cream. Please Suggest me what should i do as my hubby is gone back abroad. I have a kid who is 5 yr old. Was planning to have another one.Thanks.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have severe vaginal infection (Vaginitis) which is perhaps the main cause of not conceiving.
Please consult qualified Gynaecologist for clinical and per speculum examination and get culture and sensitivity of the vaginal secretion done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
In the mean while start taking antibiotics like Augmentin and Metronidazole twice daily and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Wash your genitals and vagina with anti microbial solution like Betadine twice daily.
