My relative has noticed whitish patches under armpit on both sides. The skin color has changed in 20 % of armpit. The color has become lighter than the other area, it is not completely white. Hair color is black. Patches are neither completely white nor pinkish, jut the area under doubt looks light in color than other skin area tending towards whitish. Question: 1.What precautions have to be taken? 2. What treatment is required? 3. Is it beginning of vitiligo?
Hi, From history it seems that you are having fungal infection under armpit as this is common site for infection. Apply anti-fungal cream or talc locally. Keep part clean, dry and airy. If there is no improvement then consult dermatologist to rule out pre-vitiligo. Ok and take care.
