White "coating" On Tongue After Unprotected Oral SexCould This Be STD ?

I have white "coating" on my tongue and the girl I have recently slept with, said she has the same thing but also swollen lymphnoids (that she also had before we had sex. Oral sex was unprotected, and I also started off without a condom. I would have set it aside as a minor infection and went to the Doctor to receive antibiotics. I have seen things about HIV or Syphillis, can you help ease my worried mind? Thanks you !

Hello,

Any unprotected sex has a risk of sexually transmitted diseases.

Presence of oral candidiasis may indicate to immunocompromised state of the body.

So it is always better to screen.

1. HIV test.
2. VDRL for syphilis.

If they are positive then consult a venerologist for treatment.
