White Scaly Patch Of Skin On Pubic Area, Not Itching, Similar Patch On Arm Pit

Hi, i have had a white scaly patch of skin on my pubic area for around 7 years now. Its so embarrasing as its about the size of a tewnty pence coin and is much whiter than the rest of my skin its not really itchy or raised its just flat and scaly on side of my vagina were my pubic hair is. I also had a patch very similar on my arm pit but that has now gone.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
From your description it seems that the hypopigmented patch on your skin is due to vitiligo. This can be adequately treated with the help of medicines or laser treatment. You can discuss about these with your dermatologist.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
