Hi welcome to Healthcare Magic. A general practitioner will take care of the bug bite. The symptoms you have described are your body's immune reaction to the venom injected in your body by the bug. There is usually mild itching and swelling which subsides in about a week max..depending on the area and amount of venom injected. If the reaction is less it can be treated at home
1. Remove the stinger if stuck in your skin.
2. Wash the affected area.
3. Apply ice pack to lessen the swelling.
However, if you are experiencing nausea, vomiting, dizziness or loss of consciousness it's wise to contact a physician or emergency department of any hospital.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Anuja.
