Why Armour Is Better That Levothyroxine For Thyroid Treatment?

I have been on Levothyroxine for years, 125mg...Would I benefit more from Armour? I have continuous weight gain and although hypothyroid, have an extreme aversion to heat and humidity. My numbers continue to be in the normal range, but I sure don t feel that way....

Hello Sir, The problem with Armour is that you have to be very regular about its timings. Otherwise there will be fluctuation in thyroid levels and disturbances related to that what you are experiencing right now. If you are in category (which can be decided by your doctor only) that you are able to convert T4 to T3( thyroid hormones storage type and active type) then you can shift to levothyroxine.
