Why I Am Having Brown Discharge?

hi...i have been having brown discharge all colours light dark etc for six weeks now with a period in between...i have taken two pregnancy tests with negative results...i am on the pill religiously...i am 28 and this continuous brown discharge has never happened to me before...i recently went through a stressful time could that be the cause or something more serious?

I've got the exact same symptoms and I've been to see my GP earlier this week who wants me to wait another 2 weeks to see if my period will start as normal. I've not been very sexually active this month and all pregnancy tests I've done have been negative but I've developed a moderate to severe back ache which seem to only go away when I massage the area, painkillers don't seem to work. I've got slight brown discharge which seems to come when I feel worked up, tense or stressed? It's really odd and I would like to know what this may be?

Hello, maybe you could see a doctor it doesn't hurt. However i have had the same "problem" and it is just basically old blood, and im on the pill as well.

hello and welcome to health care magic ,it may be due to stress and it may alo be due to hormonal imbalance,please take consultation with a gynaecologist and do accordingly,take iron and follic acid tablets one daily,and tab styptovit ,take care

Hello, welcome to Healthcaremagic. You need to provide more information about your condition. You could be suffering from a sexually transmitted disease which needs to be thoroughly worked out. You must visit your gynecologist who would send your discharge swab for tests and prescribe medicines accordingly. Wish you good health.
