Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
the range yesterday was from 90-120/74-82. On Thursday it was very high and this is why I am monitoring after the doctor told me it was very high. No meds for blood pressure involved. Went to the pharmacy on friday took a few times it was 143/70 and then 133/67 and since then has been very low. Very week and no strenght a bit confused in language at times. What does it mean? to funny jet blac I DO NOT SMOKE OR DO DRUGS OR EVEN DRINK
1 or 2 times a year i have a problem with my BP...It goes way high. one time it was 240/180. They gave me drugs that stopped my heart for a 1/2 second. I always feel the attacks coming on...Even woke my kids one time to say good bye< this is a word we NEVER use in my house. good bye is it and i felt like i was going to die. I can sometimes fight them off but its not easy, Some Drs think its a attack...My nerves but it comes out of nowhere. I found when i am not doing good i make the trips to the store to check my BP, I know its high and as the machine starts i kinda freak out knowing its going to be a high #. Stay away from the machine, I wont buy 1 cause i know i will use it anytime i dont feel good. Keep close to your DR dont monitor it as much(get the ok from your DR for this) Low BP is bad also. If you go from real high to real low you need to see a specialist...Maybe this is out of your DRs range. Sometimes our family docs think they can handle all our problems, they are good but they have limite...Thats why we have specialists. Go see one, let your Dr know you are doing it for a second opinion. You owe your DR...NOTHING!!! He did his job...pass the buck now, Its your life do all you can. I have a wife and 4 kids. I have no problem going over my family DRs head with problems. I have been with my family DR since i was a small kid...He gave me my baby shots and i am now 42. But its my life..go see a specialist. best of luck to you
