Hello and welcome,
Sometimes there is a collection of blood at the surgical site and it may get infected and lead to foul smelling bloody discharge.
Sometimes there is a bleeding from the
vaginal vault area if the sutures seperate. Get an
ultrasound done to see if there is any collection inside.
So as of now if the infection has subsided, I suggest that you keep an upright posture to let the collected blood drain away. Change fresh pads daily. Use
vitamin C and B complex tablets daily. Eat a healthy diet with fruits and eggs daily to help healing. Mobilise youself to help drain the collected blood if any. We also prescribe tablet sylate and
pause to decrease active bleed if any and they can be taken after prescription from your doctor.
Please do not worry, the bleeding will go away but it may take upto 2-3 more weeks for it to go. Just practice the above and get an opinion from your doctor and an ultrasound.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
