Why Am I Bleeding Again After Stopping Norethisterone?

hi,i had a continous bleeding and i was prescribed norethisterone 1 times 3 daily for ten days and it stopped immedidiately,but i took it for 7 days then on the eleventh day i have noticed am bleeding again,is this a normal side effect of the drug or what should i do.millicent
