Hello dear Understand your concern Bleeding after 7 days of using pills is abnormal and should be investigated by consulting the obstetrician. Following are the causes of continuously bleeding after abortion: 1. Incomplete abortion or retain product: It should be confirmed by USG. Treatment is surgical process like D & C/evacuation. 2. Molar pregnancy: Placental tissue undergoes cancerous change and develop choriocarcinoma in some case. Diagnosed by Blood HCG titer. Treated by methotrexate and surgery with blood transfusion if needed 3. Vaginal infection or pelvic infections: Chance of infection is high due to retain product. Treated by antibiotics. Maintain pelvic hygiene. Do not worry and above causes are treated easily. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
