Why Am I Bleeding Heavier Than Usual?

I gave birth in January 23rd . My period resumed 6 weeks later . All of sudden, I didn t get my period in June nor July. My period restarted 8 of August. I spotted for 2days than on the 3rd day it increased more and more. I soak a pad every 3 to 4 hours . I am worried , should I go to the doctor or not.
