Why Am I Experiencing Momentary Strong Pain In The Buttocks After Standing From Either A Seated Or Lying Position?

46 year old male experiences momentary strong achey pain in the buttock after standing from either a seated or lying position. Pain goes away after about a minute. This condition has existed for about 10 days and I didn t experience any trauma or muscle strain that I am aware of.
