Hi,
welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

This could be due acid reflux into throat. We call it as laryngopharyngeal reflux. Nothing to worry. You will be fine.

I recommend the following.

1) Avoid spicy and junk foods.
2) Avoid alcohol and smoking. Kindly ignore this if you don't have these habits.
3) Keep regular food habits. Avoid skipping meals.
4) Avoid taking coffee or tea in empty stomach.
5) Take your dinner at least 2 hours before bedtime.
6) Proton pump inhibitors like tablet rabeprazole to be taken in empty stomach.

You will be fine.

Hope i have answered your question. If you you have any questions, I am happy to help you.

Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr.Paparaja S. MBBS, MS
