Why Am I Feeling Nauseated, Bloated, Light Headed And Spotting After Depo Provera?

Hi My Name Is Tml.,.a Im currrently on depo provera and this is my first time experinceing some problems since i been and i been on sinc ei was about 16 and im currently 23. Im feeling nauseated , bloated, light headed at times, spotting brownish red blood and been throwing up for about 2 weeks now. What can that be ??

Hi,

The symptoms like nausea and bloating can happen after taking depo shots and I is due to the hormonal actions of contraceptive shot. It is more predominant on the initial days and I will settle as days progress. You can take antacids like Pantoprazole and Domeperidone for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
