Why Am I Feeling Uneasy After Being Hit On My Head 2 Weeks Ago?

I got hit in the head 3-4 times about two weeks ago. One of the hits was directly on the back of the head, where I felt dizzy and disoriented instantly. But recovered to defend myself. For the rest of the day, I had a pounding headache, the worst one I have ever had in my life and was throwing up anytime I moved. I couldn t eat for two days. I was nauseous and vomiting. I feel semi-better. I still have a gnawing headache on the left side of my head and my neck aches. I have been sleeping more than ever since the incident. And seems to be impossible and painful to stay awake. It was 9 or 10 last night and I could not keep my eye lids open. I don t know what is wrong. It s been a while since the incident and I don t want to keep complaining, but I m afraid it is all in my head if I go see a doctor.

I carefully read your question and would explain that your symptoms seem to be realated to a possible intracranial hemorrhage.

You should know that intracranial bleeding can occur even days and even months after a head trauma, causing similar symptoms like yours.

I recommend going to the ER as soon as possible for a careful physical examination and a brain CT scan, to exclude possible intracranial hemorrhage.

If such diagnosis is confirm, you may need to undergo surgery.
