Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is necessary making some tests in order to exclude other possible causes that may lead to this situation:
- A resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- A cervical spine X ray study
- A shoulder X-ray study
- Inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).

Fibromyalgia may lead to this clinical situation, but it is important to exclude a possible cardiac issue or a bulging disc in the cervical vertebral column.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
