Why Am I Having Chronic Pain In My Left Leg?

Hi Doctor, I am having pain in my left leg for the last 8 months. I consulted an ortho specialist. he advised me to take xray and blood test. blood result is normal and xray too. I am confused ,whether pain is due to bone cancer or not. my esr is within normal range. how can i detect cancer.
