Why Am I Having Dizziness And Headaches After Taking BC?
I have been on birth control for the past 5 months and in the last 2 weeks i have started to get headaches everyday, dizziness, and pressure behind my eye. I have never had these headaches or eye pressure in the past. Would this have anything to do with the birth control or could it be something more serious? Thank you
Birth control pills can cause head ache and fluid retention and can cause symptoms like dizziness and fatigue. Check your blood pressure as the pills can cause changes in blood pressure also. If you are persistently experience similar symptoms, you can take progesterone only pills (POP) instead of combined estrogen/progesterone pills. As of now take analgesics like Acetaminophen for headache and drink plenty of water.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
