Why Am I Having Fever From Past 3 Days?

I am getting fever almost daily evening With parasetamol it subsidesThis continues for three to four days and nearly two weeks no fever I went to madras for detailed investgation. All test incuding blood culture, urine culture were found to be negative., except for RA test 48.4.Even chest xray was clear.During my stay in madras there was no fever for the entire 15 days.and hence the could not idetify the reason , they said.Reaching Kannur Iam getting feverish in the evening and with parasetamol it subsides.Kindly advise me in the matter

Hello and welcome to HCM,
An evening rise in temperature continuously is suggestive of tubercular infection.
Since, the X-ray chest is clear, there is possibility of extra pulmonary tuberculosis.
I would suggest you to get a Mantoux test or PPD yest and ESR.
ESR is done on blood sample.
The above mentioned tests are sensitive tests for tubercular infection.
If positive, PCR test for tubercular bacilli can be done to confirm the infection.

Consult your primary health provider for clinical assessment and prescription of investigations.
