Why Am I Having Red Blood Spots In My Period?

hi i had a prolapse last november and had it was repaired, 2 gyno checks said all fine? than had a burnin like feeling and a stitch than i got a period,and have been spotting brigth red blood ever since ?than it got dark to the end than had sex and now its bright red agian ???

Hello,

Would like to know your age, we’re you having regular periods before the prolapse repair? It is possible that there might be infection at the stitch site, leading to spotting but that is very less likely after a year. Other possibility is that you might have developed an ulcer there which might be bleeding. Local examination would give a better idea of the actual condition.
