Hi! Good evening. i am Dr Shareef answering your query.
If you have got a habit of eating outside, the most probable diagnosis goes in favour of a collitis which could give rise to such symptoms. Pancreatitis could be excluded by a normal CT finding. If I were your doctor, I would advise you for a proton pump inhibitor and a probiotic, and avoid all kinds of oily and fast food, and go for high roughage and enough liquids by mouth. Apart from this, I would also prescribe you metronidazole for five to seen days for intestinal infection. I hope this regimen would resolve your symptoms. If it persists, you might have to go for a gastro enterologist opinion.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
