Why Am I Not Getting Proper Sleep After Taking Anti-depressants?

I was recently quite ill with an infection in the throat and stomach . I thereafter suffered from mild panic attacks . My doctor prescribed a mild dose of 250mg per tablet anti-depressants . I took those for a month then stopped , but now I cant sleep at night , and when I do fall asleep its like 5am and when I wake-up am tired and bloated.
