Why Am I Spotting If I Am Pregnant?

i have all pregnancy symptoms, last period was not normal, this time i was late by 3 days and am spotting mildly today, extreme fatigue, nausea, extreme breast soreness, bloated feeling, breathlessness, constipation, frequent headaches. i thought i was pregnant, why am i spotting? home tests -ve

Hallow Dear,

The urine pregnancy test may be false negative if performed in first week after the missed period So wait for a week more and repeat the test.

Symptoms like nausea, extreme breast soreness do not appear within first few days of missed period even if there is pregnancy. It is likely that this is just a delayed period.

Please report to the Obstetrician to confirm the diagnosis. Till the diagnosis is made, take full bed rest. Any spotting or bleeding during pregnancy is a sign of miscarriage. If you are pregnant, you will be put to bed and will be put on progesterone preparation.
