Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Recurrent chest infection can cause bronchitis.
And untreated bronchitis can cause chest pain.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (pulmonary function test)
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
PFT is needed to diagnose bronchitis. It will also tell you about severity of the disease.
And treatment is based on severity only.
So better to first diagnose your problem and then start appropriate treatment.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
