Why Am I Still Having Intense Burning And Pain In Middle Of The Thigh?

I fell and fx.left proximal humerus. For two weeks now have burning on front of thigh, also had electric shocks and like someone stabbing knife in thigh. Left lateral thigh numb. Ortopedic doc gave me predisone pack and after four days shock and stabbing gone, but continue to have intense burning and severe pain in middle part of thigh with weight bearing. Checked for DVT, ok
