Why Am I Getting Headaches, Nausea And Abdominal Cramps After My Periods?

On the 3rd November, 6 days after the first day of my period, my partner and I had unprotected intercourse. Around the 8th till the 12th, I started feeling weird- headaches, tender breasts, tiredness and nausea... I didn t pay attention as I thought I was probably ovulating. On the 24th November my period came right on time, I was crampy (as usual) but it was not as heavy as normal and it only lasted 2 days where normally it goes on for 5... I m now back to feeling sick with headaches, mild nausea, abdominal cramps, frequently visit the loo, dizzy as well but this last night when I took a HPT, it was negative. What could be wrong with me?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

I think that you are having menstrual irregularities probably due to hormonal irregularities, start antispasmodic tablets along with paracetamol and do a thyroid profile test done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
