Hi,

According to your history the possibilities are some amount of fluctuation can be seen in the menstrual length. Usually 21 to 35 days of the menstrual cycles can be considered as normal, so if your cycle pattern fallen into this, it could be your normal period.

Second possibility is some amount of injury to the hymen due to the friction can also lead to bleeding. Minimal bleeding will subside soon without the need of any treatment.

Anyhow, as you got periods after the act, the possibility of pregnancy is less as implantation is not possible which shedding endometrium.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
