Why Am I Having Intermittent Mild Electrical Like Shocks Behind Ear?

I am having intermittent mild electrical like shocks on the right side of my head just behind my ear. I am most aware of them when I am sitting quietly. They occur at least once every minute. I am a fit 65 yr old female, 5 4 120 lbs. I run 10kms at least 4 times a week all year long and ran a marathon last month. I bike long distances, 70kms two or three times a week from spring through until it snows. I am on no medications except for a multvitamin which I have been taking for many years.

Hi.
Great to know your fitness.
The feeling of electric shocks like is always due to involvement tor entrapment of a small nerve supplying that area. There may not really be something to worry about.
I hope there are no enlarged lymph nodes or muscle spasms on the same side of the upper neck or nape of nape.
