Why Am I Having The Feeling Of Tightness In Chest And Getting A Sore Throat?
I have an uncomfortable feeling in the top of my chest,feels like I'm getting a sore throat. Have been on omaprazole but symptoms persist. Am booked in for a gastroscopy in two weeks time and have to stop taking tablets. Also geta tight feeling as if someone is sat on my chest

The tight feeling can be due to a condition called diffuse eosophageal spasm , but this has to be confirmed with your gastroentrologist. If you are not smoking or drinking, i think you dont have to worry and should continue your omeprazole, if you are smoking/drinking , i would advice you to stop and meet your doctor as soon as possible.
