Why Am I Not Getting My Periods?

Hi, I am 42 years old and had a tubal ligation 16 years ago following the birth of my daughter. I have missed my last two periods and beginning the third month of no period again. I have had some signs of pregnancy such as frequent urination, bloating, fatigue, change in bowel habits, headaches, more emotional than usual, my stomach that was flat now has a bulge etc... I guess what I need to know is...what is the possibility that I could be pregnant? If not...what could be causing this? Thank you in advance for your help! Maybe Baybe?? Debbie K

Hi

You can take a urine test in order to rule out pregnancy if sexual intercourse was present in the past few weeks.

These symptoms could be perimenopausal features.Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstruation.

Due to reduction in estrogen levels, symptoms such as hot flashes, irregular periods ,vaginal dryness, mood changes and sleep disturbances, calcium deficiency occur.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
