Why Am I Not Getting Periods Regularly?

I'm 16 and my stomach has been killing me lately, and i don't know why. Its my lower stomach and I'm not sexually active, so i know I'm not pregnant. I also haven't had my period in about 6 months, but thats normal for me. i only have 2 periods a year! I feel like I'm on my period, but I'm not. Can you help me please.

Hello,

Two common causes of irregular menstrual periods are polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and hypothyroidism. PCOS is a hormone imbalance that can affect ovulation. I suggest to do a pelvic ultrasound and a thyroid hormone levels for further evaluation.
