Why Are Metronidazole And Doxytet Prescribed ?

hi im from a doctor now and was doing pap smear and they found thick white discharge and gave me doxytet 14 tablets, metronidazole 400mgand candizole vaginal tablet. what could be the cause of all this and doctor said if I had stayed long this could have affected me on having kids.

following your pap smear they could have found some vaginal infection so they have prescribed you antibiotic tablet and cream. this will not have any effect on your pregnancy.

take the medication as per your doctor prescription and you will be fine.
