Why Are Tegretol And Elavil Prescribed?
My daughter who is 35 years old got hooked on prescription pain meds and moved on to street opiod drugs and pain pills. She is currently in jail and they have prescribed her tegretol and elavil. My question is why and what can I expect when she is released in a couple of months.

Tegretol and Elavil has been prescribed for withdrawal symptoms and I think she will be alright after using these medicines. Nothing to worry.
