Why Are My Ears Itching?

My name is Rocky. Height : 5 feet 6inches weight : 48 kgs age : 22 years sir, i don t have any problems before of ears but now i having itching in my both ears.left ear having itching more than right one.i have addict of hearing songs on mobile continously.what will affect of this & what i have to do?

Hi,

As per your query, you have ear itching which seems to be due to fungal infection, wax build-up, fluid accumulation, and could be due to systemic disease infection.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you do warm saline gargles, take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to the external ear. You should consult ENT specialist once for proper diagnosis. The doctor may examine by otoscopic means to check the level of infection. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for a week along with decongestants. Put an otogesic ear drop. You should go for audiometric testing as well to check the hearing level.
