Why Are The Blood Vessels In The Eyes Are Bursting And The Reason For Popping Sensation?
For a few years, I've had loads of blood vessels in my eyes bursting, and everytime it happens I know straight away because there's a popping sensation in my eye, it doesn't really hurt it's just weird. I've looked this up on the internet and I haven't found anything else like this. I am in good health and my eyesight is OK, apart from some problems like not being able to see very far away objects, being unable to read light coloured writing on a white background and eyesight sometimes being blurry and unfocused, my eyesight is good, I visited the opticians about a year ago and they said everything was good. This isn't an urgent question, just a conversation with a friend led me to be kind of concerned about whether feeling popping sensations in my eye and blood vessels bursting simultaneously was normal or something else.

Hello,welcome to HCM,
from your description it looks like the tiny vessels on the whites of eyes (conjunctiva)get repeated damage and burst.
it is not a cause of worry to get the popping sound,but always keep lookout to prevent the bleeds
1.lack of sleep,exertion,physical strees,lifting/pushing wights ,cough might be associated.
2. systemic diseases like diabetes ,high blood pressure ,blood discrepancies(anemia,bleeding disorders)may also lead to repeated bleeds.
3. vit C supplements other than taking stock of above will give you relief.
hope this gives you a good guideline to go by
