Why Back Of Head Is Paining And Feeling Heavy Along With Closed Ears?

sir . i am from INDIA in chennai ...i will take daily head bath for past 4 year ..but now my back side of head is paining heavy ..and its paining like ..that is kept 10 kg in my head sir ..i cant manage it ..and while paining unconscious my ears r closed ..please reply me sir

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have severe headache along with clogged ears . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you menttion in query like otits media , eustachian tube dysfunction and water in ear . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to ear infection or otitis media . Headache also occur due to ear infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI , blood test and examination with otoscope to rule out causes like meniere's disease and inner ear infection . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( gentamicin ) at least for a week along with corticosteroid ear drops and anti histamine . For now keep your self hydrate by drinking plenty of water , keep your ear dry , cover them while bathing and apply hot dry compresses to external ear .
