Why Did I Get Severe Itching On Both My Thighs Along With Raised Bumps After Taking Amoxicillin?
Hello. I took amoxcillin an woke up in the middle of the night with terrible itching on both my inner thighs. When I looked, at my thighs, they had raised bumps. The itching lasted for two weeks and some days. Could it be that I was allergic to the pills?

Yes. I also think this is a light Alergo reaction due to Amoxicillin. No worries. Just talk with your treating doctor to stop it and to substitute it with another class of antibiotic if needed.
