Why Did I Have A Swollen Wrist Which Became Sore After Running Cold Water On It?

My wrist started burning and my vein looked swollen like I was allergic to something it got very hot so ran it under cold water and it just got bigger now I have a nasty bruise and it's a bit sore did I burst a blood vessel I didn't hurt it in fact I was making coffee when it happened

Dear friend.
You might have got an insect bite over there which you didn't notice.
In such conditions you should go to a doctor as can cause severe anaphylaxis. Also can be a traumatic injury. So a physical examination will rule out things and you will be investigated and treated accordingly.
