Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Daphne is an oral contraceptive composed of 'Lynestrenol', and is especially prescribed for lactating mothers.
Menstrual irregularities such as amenorrhea, breakthrough bleeding, spotting and menorrhagia are commonly encountered as side effects. Most of these side effects are mild and usually disappear after a few months of contraceptive use. Hence, kindly continue with the intake of pill as recommended. If such irregularity continues to happen and become bothersome, you need to seek medical advice by consulting Obstetrician promptly.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
