Why Do I Experience Increased Gas After Removing A Small, Well-lubricated Butt Plug?

I used a very small butt plug with plenty of lube and was very careful with it, I have no pain in my rectum or lower back but I am very gassy afterwards, can anyone explain to me why I seem to have more gas after removing the plug then before I put it in?
