I have been sick for 3 years and been to 7 different doctors. I feel like I have to get REALLY bad before they can diagnose me with whatever this is. My symptoms are steadily getting worse and worse and it's becoming difficult to function. My symptoms are: daily fever (peaks at 100F, low grade, been daily for 5 months now), bone pain (in shins, forearms, thigh bones and upper arm bones), terrible pain under my right ribs (I can't lay on that side, almost feels swollen), extreme fatigue even with plenty of sleep, loss of appetite, chest pain, wheezing (been tested for asthma, not that), lymph swelling (one node is hard on right side of neck size of a grape), lower back pain, and general all over crappy feeling (some days worse than others).
I feel at a loss where to go next. Last time I went to the doctor, they prescribed anxiety meds (I don't have anxiety) and sent me for an endoscopy. I feel like no one is listening and they shrug their shoulders and I'm left at square one again. Please help me! Where should I go next? Any ideas what this could possibly be? I've had CT scans, blood tests (for mono, lupus, RA, sarcoidosis, etc), and chest x-rays---all come back inconclusive except "slightly elevated white cell count, lymph nodes larger than normal" yet no one does anything. I'm so tired of getting sicker month by month.
