Why Do I Feel Something Stuck At The Back Of My Tongue?

Lately it has felt like there is something stuck in the back of my throat when I swallow, I finally looked in my mouth the other day and on the very back of my tongue there is white gunk and a few little red dots. Doesnt hurt at all just feels wierd and gross, do you have any idea what this could be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that the white gunk at the back of tongue is yeast infection known as Thrush and it is the cause for feeling of something stuck at the back of throat..
Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of thrush anti-fungal mouthwash like Nystatin mouthwash, clotimazole lozenges and taking more of probiotics in diet like Yoghurt and garlic will help in faster clearing off the fungus.
Drink plenty of water and maintain a good oral hygiene..
