Okay. I have mitral valve proplapse. Not sure it has to do with anything....but why does the sound of a heartbeat just.... freak me out. I can't listen to it...I really get freaked out and wig out...It's like nails on a chalkboard I guess...ill end up having a panic attack. I cant lay on my husbands chest and if i ever lay in a position where i hear my own heart, i gotta move and move tlil i dont anymore...wtf is wrong with me, seriously?
i know how you feel, if i lay on a certain side i can almost always hear my heartbeat and it's freaky. dont worry about it, i guess its just a strange experience for you, there's nothing wrong with you except you dont like hearing it.
