Why Do I Get Excess Mucus From My Cold Especially After Masturbation?

Hi! I’m a female 18 year old. I have noticed especially recently (I’ve had a bit of a cold so maybe that’s why) that after I masturbate I can feel extra mucus in my throat/mouth. I’ve never had sex before so I know it’s not any sort of STD but I wanted to ask, is this normal?
