Why Do I Get Periods After Having Bilateral Mastectomy And Bilateral Oopherectomy?
I am 35 year old female. I am 5 8 and 160lbs. 6 years ago I had a bilateral mastectomy, and 5 months ago I had a bilateral oopherectomy. Recently I started what I believe to be is a period? What does this mean? I was under the understanding that I would not get a period again?
I suggest you investigate with ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis and pelvic examination for primary work up. Meanwhile, trenexemic acid tablet can be prescribed.
